This research deals with the description of social life on the pilgrimage route through the journey undertaken by Osman Zadeh Hussein Wassaf (1872-1929) to the Hijaz region to perform the Hajj in 1323 Hijri/ 1907 BC. In which he dealt with the diaries of the trip in detail, the research dealt with a brief summary of the pilgrimage trips in the Ottoman era The life of the author of the book, his works, the definition of the book, including its copies, the content of the trip, the book’s sources, and the studies that have been done about it. A description of the social life on the pilgrimage route through the manuscript, where evidence was extracted from the manuscript that included a description of cities, streets, homes, trade conditions, ships, commercial conditions, and social customs. Then a conclusion stating the most important results that came out of the research, and the research answers important questions, how was the social life in the cities located on the pilgrimage route at the beginning of the twentieth century, and what were the manifestations of urbanization and sophistication that existed in them.
