The theme of metamorphosis is one of the themes that prevail in most fantasy narratives. The fantasy novel Lila the Tigresse revolves around "Lili", the single doctor woman who meets her Japanese friend. He undergoes a sexual transformation. This biological transformation drives the events. This is followed by the second transformation in the novel, which is a metamorphosis of “Lili” in the form of a female tiger. The metamorphosis in the novel came according to the Ovidian tradition, where the transformation takes place at the end of the events as a solution to the character crisis. As a salvation for the character through her compatibility with her new image, her gradual loss of human characteristics and features, her rapid transformation into a tigress, and her withdrawal from centralization in all its forms. The metamorphosis in the modern literature is used as a hybrid tool. The transformed personality becomes a human-animal hybrid, which breaks down the bicultural stereotypes between humans and animals, creates a connection between them, and eliminates the idea of human centrality.
